Co-researchers from the University of Reading have been working with people in the town centre of Reading to draw flowers and write messages – to friends, to family or to anyone else. These designs were then translated into digital files and laser cut. The cut-outs and left-overs were rearranged into complex structures and presented at Reading Museum, where visitors could pick up the flowers and messages addressed to them. It was a great occasion to see technology and art interacting, and how much can be created through creative thinking and making.
